When two mechanisms fuse like Goku and Vegeta.
Find the five-letter secret word. MasterWord summarizes each guess with two counters instead of revealing the result letter by letter.
Correctly placed lettersThe green tile shows how many letters are correct and occupy the correct position.
Misplaced lettersThe yellow tile shows how many letters belong to the secret word but occupy another position.
Both counters describe the whole word rather than individual letters.
Secret word used in this example: LEVEL
๐ฉ 1๐จ 3
Correct positions are counted first. The game then matches misplaced occurrences among the remaining letters. Each occurrence in the secret word can be counted only once.
Any word in the five-letter American English dictionary is accepted, including plurals and inflected forms. A repeated word is rejected and does not increment the number of guesses.
You win when the green counter reaches 5 and the yellow counter is 0. Guesses are unlimited.

OTadle is a web game platform offering daily challenges, created by Ayoub Yaqine. It brings together word, letter, number and card games that run directly in the browser.
The algorithmic design of OTadle is an idea by Ayoub Yaqine, inspired by his experience with games such as Wordle, Nerdle, Mastermind and other deduction games. He imagined more complex variants that combine several mechanics and require different forms of reasoning.
The first version of the code was developed by Ayoub Yaqine. The project is now maintained by Codex.
Every letter challenge is backed by years of linguistic research. OTadle does not choose from improvised word lists: its dictionaries were prepared from established research resources.
